ÉTUDEI is a production house working across photography, film, and creative direction. These terms outline how we work together — from first booking to final delivery — so both sides know exactly where they stand.

01. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a shoot, signing a proposal, or otherwise engaging ÉTUDEI for photography, videography, or creative direction services, you agree to the terms outlined on this page. If you're booking on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to accept these terms on that organization's behalf. We reserve the right to update these terms as our services evolve; the version live on this page at the time of booking is the one that applies to your project.

02. Services & Engagement

Every project begins with a scoped proposal outlining deliverables, timeline, and cost. Work only proceeds once this scope is confirmed in writing and any required deposit has been received. Changes to scope after confirmation — additional shoot days, locations, talent, or deliverables — are quoted separately and may affect the delivery timeline. We aim to hold reserved dates for the crew and studio exclusively for your project once a booking is confirmed.

03. Fees & Payment

A deposit of [50%] is required to secure your booking date, with the remaining balance due upon delivery of final assets unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deposits are non-refundable once a date is reserved, as they cover crew, equipment, and production planning already underway. Late payments beyond [14] days of the invoice date may incur a [2%] monthly late fee and can pause delivery of remaining files. All prices are quoted in the currency stated on your proposal and exclude applicable taxes.

04. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made more than [14] days before the scheduled shoot date receive a full refund of any payments beyond the deposit. Cancellations within [14] days of the shoot forfeit the deposit, as crew, equipment, and location time have already been reserved on your behalf. We understand plans shift — one complimentary reschedule is included per booking, subject to crew and location availability, with additional reschedules quoted case by case.

05. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

ÉTUDEI retains copyright of all photography and film footage produced. Upon final payment, clients receive a license to use delivered assets for the purposes outlined in their proposal — e-commerce, social, campaign, or press use, for example. Usage outside the agreed scope, including resale, sublicensing to third parties, or use in paid advertising beyond what's specified, requires a separate usage agreement. Unless a client requests confidentiality in writing, we reserve the right to display delivered work in our portfolio, website, and social channels.

06. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for securing any permits, location permissions, model releases, or product samples required for the shoot. Delays caused by incomplete preparation on the client's side — missing products, unconfirmed locations, unavailable talent — may result in rescheduling fees. Feedback and revision requests should be consolidated and submitted within the review window stated in your proposal; revisions requested outside this window may be treated as a new scope of work.

07. Liability & Governing Law

ÉTUDEI carries standard production insurance but is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from project delays, technical failure, or circumstances beyond reasonable control — weather, illness, or other force majeure events. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the project in question. These terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], and any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation before further action.
